🚍 Don't miss the bus... the SINK: Just Desserts Surveys are out!
As promised, we've just sent out the SINK: Just Dessert Shipping Surveys, Powered by Backerkit, to all backers this afternoon. So, those survey links should be sitting in your inbox now if you haven't got them already!
NOTE: After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page RIGHT HERE.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at Backerkit.
A big shout out to the 259 backers who have already filled out their SINK: JUST DESSERTS survey on Backerkit. Your prompt attention to this means we're almost able to finalize order counts for the book and move forward with fulfillment.

Note, we're hoping to send out digital files later this month, which means if you want to be thanked as a backer in the PDF, we need your names ASAP! So, the survey deadline to be included in the PDF is September 30, 2024.
Note: If you ordered T-shirts, we'll be locking your orders shortly after they are submitted so we can start shipping those out soon.
For everyone else, we are currently planning on locking in orders on 9/30, and any add-ons made on Backerkit with credit cards will be charged on 10/10. (Note: If you choose to pay for add-ons or shipping through Paypal, those charges will be charged immediately, because that's how Paypal does things.)

SINK: Just Desserts Backerkit Survey Coming on WEDNESDAY!

Hey SINKers, hope you had a dynamite weekend! As we continue to work on finishing up SINK: Just Desserts, we're getting ready to send you the BACKERKIT SURVEY to collect your shipping info... and SURPRISE, we're adding a NEW SINK SHIRT to the Survey!
And speaking of surveys, we're planning on sending out our SHIPPING SURVEYS early on Wednesday, 9/11/24, through Backerkit. Our survey is designed to collect your shipping information and for you to confirm any add-ons you may have pledged for during the SINK campaign.
You'll use the survey to choose your SINK: JUST DESSERTS cover if you pledged at a level that let's you select a cover.
And for INTERNATIONAL BACKERS, who were not charged anything for shipping during the Kickstarter campaign, the survey will also be where you'll be able to pay for shipping using our TOTAL ORDER WEIGHT shipping. (Remember, US shipping was and still is free.)
Any Kickstarter add-ons or special perks will be reflected in your order on Backerkit. And even if you didn't select any add-ons during the Kickstarter campaign, you'll be able to upgrade your pledge to a higher level or choose some ADD-ON EXTRAs when you fill out your survey as well!
Most backers will receive the SINK: JUST DESSERTS Kickstarter Survey, powered by Backerkit, on the morning of Wednesday, 9/11. However, about 5% of backers will receive their survey sooner, likely on Tuesday, as we conduct our "SMOKE TEST" to make sure the survey is working as expected before we send out to the full backer list. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
Unfortunately, we were sad to see that 9 backers' pledges were dropped as Kickstarter was unable to resolve their credit card charge issues...
However, those backers WILL be able to fix this through the Backerkit Survey.
Also, if you made a mistake in your pledge and selected the wrong reward, you will be able to correct it when the survey comes, as well as provide us with additional info so we can fulfill your pledge!

Yo, Sinkers, just a few key things for you today as we continue to bask in the strong finish of SINK: Just Desserts!
NEXT STEPS FOR SINK: JUST DESSERTS...
Next week, we'll be setting up the Backerkit Pledge manager and getting that prepped for the survey and collection of your materials. Meanwhile, the creative team will be continuing to work on finishing the book.
We're currently in the 2 week funding freeze period, where Kickstarter is processing pledges on our behalf.
94.5% of pledges have already been successfully processed via Kickstarter. That leaves 21 backers whose pledges have errored. This is a simple fix, and usually means your credit card info with Kickstarter is not up to date.
To update your payment information, simply log into Kickstarter and update your account. (Kickstarter will also send you an email to fix this.)
NOTE: If you're having trouble getting this fixed, it's usually best to try to do it from the desktop vs the phone app, which can be a little buggy. Please resolve those pledges ASAP, so we can get you your rewards without delay.
Next Step: Surveys
If you're new to Kickstarter, you may be wondering how we'll know where to send your rewards, or if you ordered a T-Shirt how we'll get the details on your order. Alternatively, you may have wanted to add-on a new cover to your pledge but couldn't figure it out on Kickstarter (it's a little wonky.)
Not to worry...
After Kickstarter finishes doing its thing and collects pledges from all backers, we'll send you a short SHIPPING SURVEY powered by BACKERKIT to fill out which will let you tell us where to send your physical and digital rewards.
Also, while shipping for US backers was included on Kickstarter, we will be using Backerkit to tally up all of our international orders total shipping weights so we can charge you only what it will actually cost us to ship your package to you. We'll be collecting those shipping fees through Backerkit, via Paypal or CC.
Prompt survey fulfillment = faster fulfillment, so we do hope you'll get yours in ASAP after we send it.
Once we get the surveys out, we'll follow up with a time-table on expected rewards delivery.

We managed to finish strong, 245% funded, with the $22,5K stretch goal unlocked on our final day. That means all physical backers will be getting a special print of Alex Cormack's first ever SINK drawing he did back when he and John were first pulling a pitch package together for the book!

Artist Gavin Mitchell is doing a variant cover for the direct market version of SINK #14, and we're trying to decide which one to go with.
Option 1: Busman Boab in his bus with blood splattered up the inside window behind him. Have him in shadow looking menacing.
Option 2. Bus stop. Regular folk but the bus is pouring with blood as they step in. The surrounding landscape would looks serene and beautiful.
